I dont know how to get into the area where the bulb is , I can change the bulb if i can get at it
How can i change a headlight bulb in a 2002 mercury mountaineer?
In my Ford Explorer (which is the Ford version of a Mountaineer, I think), I replaced several head lamps in the whole 5 years I had it. You have to go in through the back side of the headlight. You open the hood and twist the entire light assembly loose. Then you just unplug the bulb and replace it with a good one.
