You don't state what year your F150 is but the directions for replacing the headlamp bulb are clearly described in your owners manual.

I have taken the liberty of supplying you with a link to a 2005 F150owners manual. the directions are on pages 47-49 %26amp; are complete with diagrams.

These directions should be applicable for all late model F150s

I have an 01 F-150 and for mine it's simply just a quarter turn to the left and light pull the bulb assy out. No it's not east to get to but I do not have to remove the entire assy.
Since 1997 model year, it requires removal of the headlight assembly by yanking on the two strips that hold the headlight assembly in... no way around it.... older models can be gotten from the back with removal of say the battery
You will have to un plug H/L wires, then turn round retainer to left when locking retainer is removed bulb will come out make sure the bulb is just like the one you have takes out or it won't fit , hope this helps.
Use a Torx head screwdriver.
