How do you change headlight bulbs on a 1997 chrysler concorde?

The bulbs screw in from the back side of the headlights. Raise your hood then look on the back side of your head lights you will see the plug that plugs into the light ,just uhplug it , now you should see a big plastic nut that holds the bulb into place, you will need to turn it counter clock wise in order to remove it , you also need to push in on it when your turning it. now that you have that off pull the bulb out . it installs in the revs, order.

I've done this many times. Living in Washington, you find your lights are on a lot in the rain, etc. Pop the hood and you will see the wells where the headlights are located. It's pretty straight forward, no tools are required, but it is a knuckle buster. In the well you will see either a black or white plastic part that has a wrapped electrical cable coming from the back. The part is a 3%26quot; diameter and cylindrical in shape. It appears like it is attached to a sheet metal piece. (and it is) Get a hold of the part with your hands and turn it counter-clockwise. If you can't turn it with your hands get a large vice grip, but dont over squeeze on the vice grips you don't want to break this part. Once you have the part loosened, (about a quarter to an eight of turn will move it out of its locking grooves) just pull it carefully straight out. Be careful the bulb is in this tube. Carefully pull the bulb out. Insert the new bulb, position the tube back in its hole, turn it clockwise and that's it. The one by the battery is a little harder. I have had to remove the battery to take out the piece on a couple of occasions
